You are gracious.

I'm not sure about acceptable blogging terminology, but I have heard that Blogger is dominated by Semi-Pelagians. Take that for what it's worth...

Brother Sean, you were the means God sovereignly used to move my will toward Word Press. I am ever grateful.

Is it wrong to use sovereign grace terminology when speaking of blogging?

I upgraded to 2.5 today after reading your post. The admin area is somewhat different, a bit nicer, but definitely not going to make me (or you) post more. That said, I think it took a total of five minutes to download the WordPress files, upload to my server, then upgrade the database.

Stephen, no problem. I started out with Blogger and then switched to the free and easy Wordpress.com. When you set up at Wordpress.com you will have the option to port over all of your blogger posts.

Since two years ago, blogger has improved, but I still find Wordpress.com to have better looking templates and a plethora of very easy to use widgets to enhance your site.

If you have a web-hosting site (I run mine through our church's web-host and domain name) and want the full (and still free) version of Wordpress.org that opens up thousands of templates and plugins, I would highly recommend it. It is a tad more involved (but not difficult) to set up. But once it is set up, very easy to add to, change, post, etc. If you are interested, let me know and I'll give you a few pointers on it.

Brett, I started out with Blogger because it was easy to set up, most of my friends use it, and it integrated with my existing Google account. I'm curious, what is it that you find better about Word Press? If I ever wanted to switch over, could I transfer all my previous blog posts?
