Terry, you are no doubt right - would you say it is true for you and yours?
Not really, we have 20 channels (it made the Internet cheaper). Our boys watch Super Why at 9 am and maybe a movie or two throughout the day. My wife will watch the news at night and I will turn on a baseball game if there is one on WGN. Other than that, we read a lot and play with toys.
How about you?
No, TV has little to no influence in our family. For one, we don’t have a cable TV subscription, so we cannot receive any channels. It is more a financial decision. I’m not opposed to TV from any spiritual or biblical standpoint.
I do watch one TV series via DVD - The West Wing. We are currently in season 5, this being our third time to watch all of the series from the beginning. I watch usually after church on Wednesday and Sunday. Other than that, no TV. I’m not all that interested in what’s on.
I think that makes sense given the high price of gas.
