I heartily agree with the idea of this post, although I personally like a little more of a plan then they’re suggesting. There is a drawback to this kind of non-planning approach. How do those around you know what to expect? How do you keep a job? How do you estimate how long it will take to reach a goal? I suppose if it’s a lofty goal, the only answer is “I don’t know.” Seems like I say that sentence a lot!

on second thought, I don’t agree so much. Sure, some times a person can over plan and stick dumbly to the plan when better opportunities pop up. But there are many good things about planning too, like having a greater chance of heading off obstacles before they knock you down.
